This is a nice KOA. The site were level and long enough. The space between the sites was generous. It is well located just off highway 17 with good access to stores etc. It is in the trees so it was shady and nice. All the hookups were located well and the cable and Wi-Fi were good. The site are mostly sand with some grass. We would stay here again.
We choose a cement pad which we really enjoyed and would recommend. We were on the fourth row from the beach and it was very nice. It was level, the hookups were very well located and there was good room between the sites with grass. The interior roads are a bit narrow which is about the only negative we can say. Although we didn't use many of the facilities there was a cafe, gift store and RV stores etc. It was easy in and easy out to route 17. The cable and Wi-Fi worked well. We would certainly stay here again.
This campground is clean and nice. It was level and all of the hookups were good. The laundry was clean, and the owners were friendly. The layout is a little different as the sites are joint on the hookup side so you would be near your neighbors. This does give you a large area from your front door with a cement patio, though. It wasn't very full so we had no one next to us, but it is just different. All the sites look over to a small lake that was clean. The cable was new but snowy, and the owners were getting the cable company in to check it out. The biggest downside would be that it is out in the country and 5 to 8 miles from gas and groceries. The Outer Banks and Kitty Hawk are about 40 miles. Of course it was very quiet.
This is a nice campground. We would give this a much higher rating when they get more things built. It is a newer campground and they are not finished yet. There wasn't a laundry and the cable was snowy but the park is laid out nice with lots of room to maneuver and park. Most of the sites are pull through and some are paved. The paved sites do not have cable as of yet. A pool and clubhouse are planned. It is very convenient to I-95 but not too close for noise to be a problem.
Nice enough park that is large and spread out with a little bit of everything. It had double wides, park models and 3 or 4 sections for RVs. It is nicely laid out so every type is kept together. All the permanent and seasonals were VERY clean. We were in a newer section which didn't any trees but was nice. The site was on a gentle hill and long enough the that 5th wheel was on a level section. There was a new pool and store in our area. They seem to be expanding with a number of new things planned. Everyone was very helpful. We would stay there again.
This is a very nice park. The site we had was perfectly level and the rest looked that way also. The space between the sites was plentiful. The sites are gravel and deep. We only got to stay two days but really enjoyed the park. The people were very nice and friendly. It has pull throughs and back in spaces as well as some very nice looking cabins, and tent sites. We would go out of our way to return again.
This is one of the very best parks we have ever stayed in. It is a bit expensive but with all the things you get it is an excellent value. All the sites are paved and have a table with umbrella, and chairs. Some of them have firepits. The hookups are real good and situated well. The washer and dryers are FREE. The cable has 4 HBO channels. There are a number of swimming pools, a cafe, horseback riding, etc. and great grounds. It is a resort destination with many, many things to do in a beautiful setting. We ended up extending our stay 5 days. The sites are not all that level because they want good drainage but don't let that stop you.
This is a better than average KOA. The sites were fairly level and had good space between outfits. We stayed there over Labor Day and the park was full. They had a fire truck for the kids to ride on. The swimming is in a pond but it looked clean. There were a few seasonals there but they were in a different area and very clean. Shopping is close and it isn't all that far to downtown Cleveland. We liked it and would stay again. The negative were no cable an a bit dusty
This is a good park for a stop over or for just relaxing. It isn't large but is nice. The sites are fairly level and not to close together. It is next to a water park but up the hill and far enough away that noise shouldn't be a problem. The water park was closed when we were there so we are guessing about the noise. There isn't much else there so it would be a tough if you needed entertainment for the children. We would stay again on a short stay.
This campground offers both sunny sites and shady sites. It was well kept up and the people were very friendly. It has both pull thru and back in sites for larger rigs. There are some sites that back up to a river although the river was almost nonexistent while we were there and there were some odors. The site we stayed in was away from the river and we had no smell. We stayed in the sunny large rig section. The shady sites were nice without being too cozy. They have plenty to offer. A paper every morning was an enjoyable touch. It is just a few miles to Boothbay. We would enjoy staying here again.
This is a nice enough park and well located for visiting Niagara Falls. It had a lot for children to do. The roads and sites were level and okay but the park just kind of bland. There weren't any trees to speak of and the sites were somewhat close together. Everyone was nice but we didn't warm to the park. The best thing is the location to Niagara Falls and we would stay here again if we were visiting the area. There is no cable TV.
We stayed here only one night as we had a time schedule. It was a nice enough park especially if you had a boat. It is right on the Mohawk river with a lot of docking space. It is in the trees and shady most of the time. It had rained before we got there and there was some muddy spots. The trees are tall and you don't feel like you are in jail but you wouldn't see a lot of the sun. The layout of the park was such that most of the back in sites were around the edge of a circle and the back ends were close. We didn't have sewer as we were just passing through. We would stay again but as we do not have a boat we wouldn't stay long
This is a well laid out park. It seemed to have everything we required. We didn't use the Wi-Fi as we found none of them seem to work very well. All the sites looked level, except one and all are paved and very well spaced apart. It was easy to get into and get around in. About the only negative was that the back-in sites weren't deep enough to park our 35' fifth wheel and pull our vehicle in straight: a very small matter. We enjoyed our stay and will return.
This is a small and quiet park. They spaces are paved, level and decently spaced. They are canted in such a way that it makes it more private. All the hook ups are well placed and the Wi-Fi is excellent. The owner is a former computer worker. There aren't that many pull thrus and the roads weren't real wide but all were manageable. There were some seasonals but they were well kept. This park wouldn't work all that well for families looking for things to do, but if you want a quiet place to relax this is a good spot. We spent a week and went into Boston. The train stations are not that far. We also went to Lexington and Concord.
